This is the story of how I lost 10 pounds in a week, and more than 20 lbs in a month.
I needed to lose weight before my 10 year graduation. My goal was to only lose 5 pounds a week. My problem was that I only had 30 days to lose as much weight as possible. Ideally I would have loved lose 50 pounds, but this was just not possible in such a short time span.

Here are the steps I took to lose 10 pounds in a week:

2) We decided to limit our food intake, because we needed to lose weight fast. Keep in mind that eating less is not the best option for long lasting weight loss. However for our goal to lose weight as fast as possible, it was just what we needed.
You may find it difficult at first to eat less, but stick at it. Instead of two scoops, take one, and etc.
3) We made a small journal to count our calories. Set yourself a goal. If you normally take in 2800 calories. Try and reduce that number in half. I personally upped my intake of fiber rich food, so I could cleanse my system out.
4) One of the biggest things I did, was cutting out my late night snacks. I was one of those persons that ate in bed, while watching a good movie. I put my meals on a strict curfew. After 7:30 PM, I could no longer sneak my ice cream in bed. My husband made sure of this for me. I also woke up every morning and ate breakfast. This boosted my metabolism and allowed me to burn calories faster. I also increased my water intake and tried to take in at least 10 glasses of water per day. 5) Each day we made it a habit to jog for at least 30 minutes per day around the neighborhood followed by 10 to 15 minutes of either light weight lifting, or ab excerises.
